Orca
The Orca provides constant pressure
variable speed control for up to six pumps.
Techsys’ Orca technology provides significant hydraulic
control advantages as it was specifically designed for the
demanding control requirements of end-suction pumps.
It applies real pumping intelligence to maintain system pressure
at the set point by varying the speed of the VFD pump and
switching to other pumps.
Menu items are displayed in real English on a 2-line LCD
display and the system is easily customised to suit site conditions
via operational menu system.
Operational modes include; single VFD starting all pumps,
multiple VFD for each pump or lead VFD & lag system
System protection includes; low & high pressure protection
with adjustable delay timers to eliminate nuisance tripping
as well as Techsys’ unique automatic calculation of
“no flow” condition.
Instant access to system status is available via LED and
data logging menus. These include hour run meters, starts
last hour display, flow rate calculation for instantaneous
and totalized flow indication as well as fault conditions.
